Fort McMurray Labor Source, a leading provider of temporary staffing and recruitment services in Fort McMurray is seeking an advanced Executive Assistant for a 1 year Contract work opportunity with our Public Sector client in the Wood Buffalo region.


 


Duties may include:


 


  • Ability to prioritize workload as there may be multiple and conflicting deadlines (BF tracking system)

  • Tracking all correspondence using CCM Mercury and RDIMS

  • Provide support to senior level staff and will be working with standard office equipment

  • Provide support on travel arrangements and preparing travel expense claims in Claims X

  • Excellent knowledge of office management practices and very good understanding of the Treasury Boards practices, policies and directives

  • Excellent writing, analytical, organizational and communication skills 

  • Revieiew the effectiveness of operations

  • Inputting data, processing updating and routing correspondence

  • Proofreading and editing materials, analysing and inerpreting data

  • Ensuring proper attention is given to the government wide issues and events (Senior Exective and DMIed)

  • Planning meeting and participating in management meetings, preparing reports and documentation

  • Developing, maintaining, monitoring and updating administrative procedures


Mandatory requirements:


 


  • Fluently Bilingual (English and French)

  • Must have a minimum of one year experience within the past three years working in the government as an administrative/executive assistant

  • Must demonstrate five years’ experience within the past seven years’ providing administrative support services in a senior executive environment where candidate was managing multiple and shifting priorities and organize workload, making decisions, negotiate and initiate actions accordingly

  • Must demonstrate five years’ experience within the past seven years’ using software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, RDims and CCM Mercury

  • Must have one year experience within the past three years’ using SAP Financial Systems -such as DRIMS and Claims.
